About Innova Osteopathy
Innova Osteopathy was inspired by the concept of ‘introducing changes and new ideas’ as described by the word innovate.
As osteopaths, we are constantly introducing changes to clients throughout treatment sessions, through both hands-on treatment, exercise prescription and educational advice.
Given every body is unique, there is always an opportunity to explore new concepts and further knowledge within the health and medical fields which is what we are constantly striving to do.
About Us
Dr Nikola White
BHsc / BAppSc (Osteopathy)
Dr Nikola White completed her five year double degree at RMIT University, graduating with Distinction in both a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science. She is currently completing an International Diploma of Animal Osteopathy.
From a young age, Nikola has been fascinated by the world around her and eager to understand how things work. This established a passion for learning, and a curiosity to constantly seeking new opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills.
Nikola enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions, enjoying adapting a holistic approach to each individual case. She notably utilises Facial Counterstrain (FCS), a technique which has revolutionised the way manual therapists can approach pain and dysfunction, to help achieve this approach. FCS allows for a gentle and highly specific treatment, going beyond a simple, muscle focused therapy for an integrated and comprehensive treatment.
Growing up in Kinglake, Nikola developed a love of animals and the outdoors, especially her horses and Border Collies Ziva and Kezia. She also has participated in a wide variety of sports, and still makes time to try out new things.
